Music Technology

Technology has impacted my life in many ways. Although I wasn't really around when technology wasn't growing in our world, I can definitely say that it has been a benefit to my life and other lives around me. I would say that the biggest way it's had an impact on my life is through the internet and cell phones, because that is what I use most. I don't believe that I function much differently now as a musician than I did a year ago from technology, but I know it will impact my future as a music educator. Although two or three years ago I did function differently as a musician because in the past I did not have the knowledge of being able to learn music through the internet. Although I didn't learn this in music technology, it's still a form of technology that has impacted my life as a musician. Obviously, I like that I can learn music and learn new things about music from the internet. I don't believe that I dislike anything about the internet that has to do with music. I have learned a lot through music technology that I know will benefit my future as a music educator.
